The North Platte Telegraph Quilters from across the state began arriving in North Platte on Thursday for the annual Nebraska State Quilters Guild convention.

Quilting group to hold monthly meeting
Quilters Etc. Lompocs quilting group will hold its monthlymeeting at 7 p.m. today at the Bethany Lutheran Church, 135 South ESt. Social time will begin at 6:30 p.m. This months program willbe a Make It and Take It project.

Learn the basics of quilting at Stecoah arts center
STECOAH A one-day workshop will be held at the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. July 31. Participants will learn the basics of quilt piecing and machine quilting while making an easy tote bag.
